The village of Tereli stretches roughly three hundred meters along the face of the Bandiagara Escarpment.  As you explore the village you will be struck by the quintessential Dogon architecture including pointed thatched roofs atop both dwellings and granaries. .  The authenticity of the village is evidenced in their way of life including masked dances as part of funerary rites for initiated elders.
